Dental Products
BEST Life’s PPO and indemnity dental products are available for groups as small as 2 employees enrolling. Both products have access to a network for out-of-pocket savings, and employers can choose from a selection of national or regional networks.
PPO Dental
Features include:
- In-network PPO incentives (i.e. higher in-network benefits)
- The freedom to choose any dental provider of choice along with the cost-savings advantage of PPO network participation
- Variety of basic to rich plan design options
- Child and adult orthodontia is also available
This product is sold in AZ, CA, DC, FL, IL, IN, MD, MI, MO, NE, NV, OH, TX and UT.
IndemnityPlus Dental
- Same benefit levels apply in or out-of-network
- Members can take advantage of out-of-pocket savings when they receive care from a network dental provider
- Basic to rich plan designs available along with child and adult orthodontia

Medical Products
BEST Life offers traditional PPO and HSA-compatible high deductible health plans for groups with 2 to 50 employees enrolling in select states:
Health Solutions II
For those who like traditional PPO medical plans, our “Build Your Own” format gives you the choice to select the options you want:
- Broad range of deductible, co-pay, coinsurance and out-of-pocket maximum combinations;
- Preventive care benefits with buy-up options available;
- CareMark prescription drug coverage with the choice of 3-tier co-pay and deductible options or Discount only.
Health Solutions High Deductible Health Plans
Our High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) can be purchased alone or it can be paired with a Health Savings Account for significant tax savings. HDHP members can use any bank to open a Health Savings Account and can take advantage of tax benefits, ease of payment, and online account administration.
BEST Life Medical plans are sold in AZ, GA, ID, IL, IN, MO, NV, OH, OK, TN, TX and UT.

We offer group term and voluntary life products:
Essential Group Life
A group term life plan for groups with 10 or more employees enrolling
- Optional AD&D, Dependent and Supplemental Life
- Individuals can increase coverage for themselves, or include insurance for their children
- Guarantee issue amounts are based on total group volume
- 2-year rate guarantee and discounts are available for preferred industries
- Essential Group Term Life is available in all states except CT, DE, KY, MA, ME, MN, NC, NH, NJ, NY, PA, RI, WI, WV and VT.
Passport Life
A customizable and flexible voluntary group life plan that is portable
- Minimum of ten participants enrolled
- Guarantee issue amounts based on employee participation
- Minimum guarantee issue of $30,000 for employees under age 60
- Available in AL, AK, AR, AZ, CA, CO, DC, FL, GA, HI, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MD, MI, MS, MO, MT, NE, NV, NM, NC, ND, OH, OK, OR, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, and WY.
BEST Flex
For groups with 2 or more employees enrolling when bundled with a BEST Life medical or dental plan
- Available as stand alone for groups with 10 or more employees enrolling
- Includes AD&D coverage
- No ineligible industries
- Up to $30,000 guarantee issue depending on group size
- Age rated
Vision Plans
BEST Life offers an indemnity vision product that is not tied to any network:Stand Alone Vision
- Indemnity vision plan
- Employer-sponsored and voluntary available
- No ineligible, loaded industries or waiting periods
- Access care from any licensed ophthalmologist or optometrist
- Contacts in lieu of OR in addition to frames and lenses
- Outlook eyewear and QualSight laser eye surgery discounts included
