Inside Sales Representative

BEST Life and Health Insurance Company is an insurance company focused on personal service.  Catering to businesses interested in purchasing health, dental, life or vision insurance, we market group insurance to insurance agents and employers in 39 states. As an Inside Sales Representative, you build and maintain a network of selling agents through outgoing calls. You also provide product consultation to brokers looking for the right insurance products for their clients. 

The ideal candidate should have at least (2) two years of related experience in a sales or customer service position, including experience in cold calling.  A fun, enthusiastic attitude with networking and excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.  Prior experience in the group dental or health care field is a plus!  

 Responsibilities include:

• Implementing and executing successful sales strategies
• Network building with the end goal of growing membership and profit
• Initiating cold calling
• Providing superior customer service
• Ensuring customer needs are consistently met
• Managing prospects and proposal development
• Advising agents on insurance products and providing rates
• Using analytical and math skills in evaluating quotes
• Identifying quality business opportunities
• Working with internal departments to improve processes, and outcomes based on feedback from the agents or employers
• Ability to obtain or currently possess an active Life/Health license
• Knowledge of health care plans, benefits, contracts, on-line systems and work flow
• Basic computer skills, including social media, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email
• Other related duties as required and necessary
